"The CFH Scholarship has given me the courage and resources to pursue my dreams."
Ruhan’s story is a true example of determination and hope. He's currently in his second semester at college, studying Computer Science. High school was tough, and financial struggles almost made him give up. But thanks to a nonprofit’s support, he was able to finish his SSC. Getting into college seemed like a distant dream until he was awarded the CFH Scholarship. That news was a game-changer for Ruhan. It gave him the strength to pursue his dreams and step onto the college campus with renewed hope and big plans. Now, Ruhan is living his dream, working hard in his classes. He has a goal to move to Dhaka Graphic Institute someday to continue his education and earn a higher degree. He's passionate about learning coding and computer graphic design and hopes to start his own business in the future. Ruhan is deeply grateful for the CFH Scholarship. It’s not just financial aid; it’s a lifeline that’s helping him chase his dreams. He hopes to one day use his education to make a difference and give back to his community. Adding to the family’s inspiring story, Ruhan’s sister, Toamoni (see bio above), is also a CFH scholarship recipient. Just like her brother, she’s determined to overcome the odds and build a better future with the support of this generous scholarship. Together, they’re on a path to making their dreams come true.
A scholarship program for marginalized students in Bangladesh has the power to make a transformative difference in the lives of children who are on the verge of leaving school due to extreme poverty.
